Product Details

Rump roasts—also called beef round roasts—are cuts of meat taken from a cow’s hindquarters near the loin. Beef rump roast is an extra lean cut of beef. It is much lower in fat in comparison to other cuts of beef like ribeye, brisket, or prime rib (standing rib) roast. Rump roast is closer to top sirloin, tenderloin, or sirloin tip roast cuts in its leanness and location on the cow.

Please note that all of our products are cut by hand and may vary slightly in weight. 

How to Cook

Large amounts of connective tissue in the rump roast, make it perfect for long, slow cooking time over low heat for melt-in-your-mouth tenderness. Additionally, braising or oven-roasting a rump roast can used to develop a beef broth that you can reserve for use in other dishes.

Shipping & Delivery

We are proud to offer shipping nationwide. Orders will ship directly from the ranch every Tuesday using UPS 2-day Air. Orders placed after 5PM on Monday will be shipped the following Tuesday. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes at this time. Local pickup is available within the DFW metroplex and from the ranch at no additional charge.
