Tri-tip is cut from the sirloin. The tri-tip is an incredibly flavorful steak with a bold, beefy taste and tender texture. It has dense marbling – the white flecks of fat – that melt into the steak as it cooks.
Please note that all of our steaks are cut by hand and may vary slightly in weight.
How to Cook
A tri-tip steak tastes best when cooked to medium-rare or medium doneness over very high heat cooking like grilling or broiling indoors. Once cooked to your desired doneness, rest the tri-tip steak 5-10 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute. Then, slice against the grain for the most tender steak experience. Topping this lean, flavorful cut with a compound butter or chimichurri sauce makes for an incredible steak dinner!
Shipping & Delivery
We are proud to offer shipping nationwide. Orders will ship directly from the ranch every Tuesday using UPS 2-day Air. Orders placed after 5PM on Monday will be shipped the following Tuesday. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to P.O. Boxes at this time. Local pickup is available within the DFW metroplex and from the ranch at no additional charge.
